Welcome to Saturday Nite Live!
Alcoholics Anonymous has three legacies: recovery, unity, and service.
Our first legacy is recovery. We suggest taking the Twelve Steps with a sponsor. If you are looking for a sponsor, or willing to be a sponsor, drop your contact information in the sponsorship box. You can also visit the SNL website, message me in the chat, or fellowship after the meeting.
The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, our basic text, is for sale at cost. Literature is also available online for free at aa.org.
We have a newcomers workshop meeting each Sunday afternoon at 3:30.
Our second legacy is unity. The Saturday Nite Live Group provides many opportunities for fun and fellowship. Find out how to get involved by visiting our website at saturdaynitelive.org (that is saturday N-I-T-E live.org). Our website also includes the SNL meeting schedule, upcoming events, and speakers for our Friday-night speaker and monthly birthday meetings.
Our third legacy is service. We encourage everyone to get a service commitment. You can review this month’s service positions on our website. Available secretary and steering commi1ee positions are also posted on the bulletin board. Elections are held at our monthly business meeting on the second Saturday of each month at 3:30 PM.
If you need attendance verification, place your slip in the basket on the front desk and I will have it for you after the meeting. Attendance can also be verified on our website.
